White-Go Installation Creation Utility (Vs 6.0)
Although this is now FREE, All Rights and Copyright remain with me, Charles Peter White (the author).
This Utility will create an installation utility that can execute programs, pass files to other programs. View files, Copy and change directories if allowed on creation. Unzip files using EXE/COM format aswell as PKUNZIP.EXE, ARJ.EXE and LHA.EXE. All sorts of little facilities all built in one package. It has some great selections in both the Creator and the Final created Installion routine. Can also be used as a 'Front End' on your CDRs.
No other data files are necessary for the created utility. All code and set-up files are contained within !! with the exception of any files you want to install, display and execute.

Here you can select how the display is going to look, what colours to use. What facilities to allow and what methods of extraction and execution of files.
You can switch on the facility to have a line of text to display for a set duration when the installer is initiated. You can exclude the ability to change directories, View files, use unpacker routines, run programs and so on.

'Help' is available at all times by pressing 'F1'
Simple instructions on a single page, just to get you through the action.

Once everything has been set-up you just press F8 and enter in the name you want for the created Installation utility. WhiteGo gives you simplistic selections and action. Leaves frustration behind.

Displays current directory, time and date of the original path from where you executed the program. The Main Window holds the Current Directory and contents, the Advertising Screen and below, my copyright notice.

With the ability to display Text files, it gives the End User a chance to examine and use the Installation utility beyound normal installation routines.
Also, it is very nice to use the package to Run, View and Copy things, where other installation routines do not allow for this. Mind you, that all depends if the final utility was set-up to allow for these actions.

Here, one has selected an EXE file. After selecting the RUN facility, an additional facility pops-up to give the User a chance to execute the EXE file with any parameters or pass other files to it. Useful !
Now the End User has a TOOL for testing things out, even if it's nothing to do with the installation of the product.

The Green Window (as set-up) shows the created 'Help' screen for the customer. This can be set-up at the beginning. Pageing Up and Down with Escape to exit. All these selections can be done either with the keyboard or with a Mouse or any device that emulates a Windows mouse. ASCII selection is available.

Selecting to 'LOG' a drive allows instant selection to change drives. Selection as usual is done via the keyboard or a mouse or compatible device.
