NEW 'Cross Index' page creation features.
A). TABLE displays: 5 methods to choose from.
B). Better TABLE placement.
C). 11 systems on the same directory WITHOUT conflicts (A.htm to Z upto A9 to Z9.htm). Useful for different Cross Index systems for various subjects.
D). Ability to have Table BORDER display.
E). Now extract what is available to create those files. No more creation of the first file, even if empty (as used with the 'as-is' feature).
This and other features.
F). REMOVE DUPLICATE URL addresses.
You could have the 'ABCDE' cross link selector on the last line if the full screen was out of view. The display above shows this. However, the selection process will not allow any bottom display if the lines across the screen is around 10 or less. You can set anything above that, right up to 999 lines.
The 'Cross' Links selection is only created with the alphabetical letters present within the file. However, you can choose to have 'all' missing links inserted. This is useful for adding other pages, not necessarily to do with things starting with that general index content.
A 'TARGET' page may also be assigned to the entire 'cross links selector', giving you the ability to display where you want !
You can have a Background .JPG file named SSDLAPP.JPG (sample as shown above), which can be of your design. I suggest 'light' colours, as the general colours within the created files are preset. That said, you can change everything if you edit each page source. I will do something about this later.
The 'properties' are 'fixed' which gives the appearance of the text moving over the background. However, Netscape does not handle the 'bgproperties' command (it's a shame), resulting in the background being fixed with the text. It's no loss, but the nice effect is lost.
There is also a facility to 'Compress' the resulting code.
Site Search.

This routine allows the creation of a FULL Site Search HTM file with all the assignments and data intact and as one program. This can be used for CDR creation or for your Web Site, although the overall size should be kept within reason due to download times. Not so for CDR creation, but End-Users memory requirements must be considered.
Anything created can not be used for any form of 'money' receiving project, product, part of a service or bundled with any other product etc. It can only be used for and distributed for FREE, in the full sence of the word.
System Requirements:
DOS 3.3 and above, Windows 3.x, 95,98,NT,2000.
(May not be suitable for Windows ME).
Keyboard/Mouse entry. Maximum SSDLAPP.HTL master file size= 4mb.
Memory required: 360k and above.
Requires DOS SORT or Windows95/98 SORT routine located in windows/command directory. You can use any command line sort that allows for 'start position' of sort and filters with the correct outputs.
Anyone can use this for superb results !
This really is a very useful utility !
Our 'Site Search Index' was created in a couple of minutes with the exceptions of the top 'Table'.
